The importance of using high quality ingredients

My #1 priority in my kitchen is to use high quality ingredients. I don’t use synthetic oils or corn, vegetable, or soy oils in my kitchen. I use grass fed butters, free range organic eggs, sea salt, organic sugars and homemade bourbon extract! Or any synthetic dyes!

Using high-quality ingredients is not only a lot better for you and your families health but it also makes my products taste SO MUCH better.

Digestive issues

Soy can cause constipation and diarrhea. Eating more than 25% of your body weight in soy protein can also damage your intestines, but adding fermentable fibers to your diet can help.

Thyroid function

Soy can affect thyroid function in people who are iodine deficient, and it can interfere with the body's absorption of thyroid medication.

AVOID RED DYES

The research isn’t suggesting that artificial food colors like red dye 40 are causing ADHD. It’s believed that red dye and other artificial food colors cause pediatric hyperactivity and learning issues.
